Covenant does not work? Follow these steps to fix it

If Covenant still does not work properly even after connecting to a VPN, the next thing to do is remove Covenant and reinstall it on your system. If Covenant spits error messages or crashes for no apparent reason, your copy of Covenant may be corrupted. Software errors, evenly downloaded files, and other issues may cause Covenant and other add-ons to stop working. After completing the relocation process described below, you will know for sure that you have a complete and up-to-date copy of the Pact.

Here’s a quick guide that will guide you through the ins and outs of removing and relocating Covenant.

Step 1: Right click on Covenant

In the companion menu, right-click on Covenant to open the context menu.

Choose the menu information option and go to step 2.

Step 2: Uninstall the agreement

Select the uninstall option to unistall Covenant from your system.

Note: We have seen Covenant in Kodi and other repositories, but Colossal still seems to have the most recent version.

Step 4: Install (or reinstall) Colossus

From Kodi’s main menu, go to Add-ons → box icon → Install from zip file, then find on your hard drive and open it. If you already have Colossus, you will see a message stating that the Colossus deposit has been updated.

Step 5: Reinstall Covenant

Go to Install from Repository → Colossal Repository → Video Modules → Compact and select Install.

Kodi will ask you which one you want to use If you have other repositories containing Covenant. Select Colossus to complete the reinstallation.

Remove and reinstall Kodi

If Colossus still does not work properly after reinstalling it, Kodi could be the culprit. Kodi tends to be less and less stable over time, especially if you have a large number of add-ons installed. If you notice annoying issues in all of your modules, starting over from scratch will eliminate the possibility of a problem with the Kodi installation.

The steps below explain how to perform a complete reinstallation of Kodi on Mac, Windows and Android. If you’re using a Mac or a Windows PC, removing Kodi’s hidden folder is the key part of reinstalling Kodi


Open your browser and navigate to your applications folder. Double-click Kodi and select Move to Trash.

Click the Finder’s Go menu while holding down the Option key on your keyboard to make the Library option appear. Click Library, then open the application media and delete the Kodi folder.

Open Explorer, and then copy and paste% appdata% in the navigation bar. Then scroll to the Kodi folder and delete it.
